Many Years Ago

Her lips were
knock me out gorgeous
and when I came to
I felt like a Mack truck
had run over my nose.

Without my friend Leroy
there to help me
I would have suffered
more I suppose.

knocked out while
fighting over a girl.
My best friend Ronnie
Leroy rescued me from
an emminent slaughter.

Ronnie was my best friend until his wife came over to Germany and they moved off base...after that he spent more time with his wife and less time running around with me...he was a farm boy from Missouri...James
