A sip of coffee, a deep breath and Another day has failed. Such is life. You know your Missing something when the sunrise Turns its back on you. Or is it fear? I would think in all this darkness that the Moon would still peek around the Corner now and then. Guess he’s waiting for me to fall off first. If you feel the need to stay down under Please. . . Don’t let my unbearable presence Slow you down. I would not want to be the Reason the moon ran away. Maybe my shadowed mood has you unnerved. Whatever the case, please send a message to your Partner . . . The sun must rise. It’s the way of things. There are no choices for you. We have a lot in common, my friend. At least you can hide in your eclipse Think things over and come back shining. And the sighs in the moonlight return. The warmth of sunlight enfolds. All is well. . . For them. My life is my darkness, my breath . . . my poison. My choices have left me with no chances Some things. . . You can‘t take back. Another sip of coffee, and I’ll leave you. I know my presence kills the light. I see my outlook pale the night. You can’t compete and I can’t quit. It’s all a Cunning game of lies. By: K. Mulroney 06-28-2006 Copyright |

Some of our deepest and most profound poetry can come when we are in a "shadowed mood". This you have proven to be true. Beautifully penned. May the moon light your nights and the sun light your days. Loving Light, Earth Angel |

"I would not want to be the reason the moon ran away" fascinating line makes me recall a poem I wrote about the moon blowing the stars out and running away in the darkness welcome to Passions! I will enjoy reading your work, I know |
