Heartstrong Heartstrong the night grows overlong somewhere the sun is a broken bulb that some other horizon must replace, we're told But I find I'm okay painting spring over the winter decay imagination is more fun alone transmit lunar light in pockets of white to my ever aching bones Scale back the attack and bring up the reasons why can we piece together the weather scheduled to rain in my eye Hearstrong helping me to hold on to the shifting yin yang of days making me dizzy, ready and willing to throw it all away The other side of daylight is the end of the rope for me can we put it together, or is it better if I fall so elegantly into the sea Hearstrong keep your road long in front of you, keep in the light replace the bulb and you'll feel all right Move along it can't hold long, so pick it up before I perish all good things are on hold and remember to always cherish love over gold I'm sold "Hey, it's me, I'm dynamite and I don't know why" -- Van Morrison, 'Sweet Thing' |

I simply love the rhyme scheme in this piece. Not to mention the overall construction. Smooth and relentless. Powerful yet calm. Just great poetry!

But I find I'm okay painting spring over the winter decay imagination is more fun alone transmit lunar light in pockets of white to my ever aching bones artistically verbilized like a fountain of life lines, winning the run for the roses...this was very nicely done. |
