Sacrifice, Transformation, And Unrestricted Warfare The Japanese hadn’t lost a war since 1598 Each man carried 400 rounds of ammunition (twice as many as an American infantryman) With five days rations and fearless determination. The men in the badly wrapped brown uniforms Since their early childhood had been taught That to die for the emperor and one’s country Was the greatest of all glories to be sought. Moreover, the hardware backing them was awesome As sharpshooters they were accurate up to a thousand yards and more. Their ships were faster, their Guns bigger, Their torpedoes better, And their planes matchless in quality, aerobatics and score. Only by sacrifice, transformation, and unrestricted warfare Was America able to overcome and prevail. Again America must stand firm to survive As we face a new monster from Hell. Tom, “And their plains matchless in quality, aerobatics and score.” Perhaps you mean “planes”. It is true however, that Japan does have many earthquakes. “As we face a new monster from Hell.” Now is that anyway to describe President Bush? Bobby |

... but America sent the "Little Boy" and that is nothing to go proud of, to begin with the name! A name that recalls INNOCENCE, yet that bomb brought death. That was some kind of "transformation" indeed! May we grow in the awareness of being ONE and may we see in each other the spark of our common CREATOR, so that no more wars will devastate the world. Love and Peace! Margherita |

“As we face a new monster from Hell.”..... "Now is that anyway to describe President Bush?" Now Robert...really!....you shouldn't be disparaging and insulting poor innocent 'monsters from Hell' by making that analogy! |
