Under a blazing sun, beneath a clear blue sky
this rugged land is dying and we can only sigh
the outback has its beauties the city has its charm
but we must pull together if we’re to save from harm

All we need is a chance and we want a fair go
to reach out to others so people can grow
in this land called Australia there is one thing I know

We have tough beginnings and we are built to last
moving to the future, moulded by our past
We have loved this country all through adversity
Now we move onto future dreams caught from history

Disadvantaged people pass by us everyday
and watching them is not enough; we have to pave the way
for better, brighter prospects – to be the best they can
with a Fair go to lead us we’ll make it our plan
