 Summer Fun ~ Linda L. Dowd ~ Popsicles and lollipops, Pollywogs and pogos. Skipping ropes and hula hoops, Magic shows and mojos. Summer is a time of fun, Roller-coasting at the fairs. Popsicles and candy floss, Hide-and-Seeking with no cares. Bicycles and roller skates, Games of Throw-and-Catch. Building castles on the beach, Berry-picking at the patch. A picnic on a blanket, And soaking up some sun. Playing Tag and swimming, ~ Summer's lots of fun! “Happiness is a state of mind. Think happy! ~ Be happy!” ~ Linda L. QueenEarthyAngel~ Landry Leigh just LOVES this ... she just got back from the beach over the weekend and has been brushing up on her swimming lessons in the pool~ She is saying, "~Poet~, let me see it again." Another sunshine poem from an angel sent our way, to remind us all that childhood should never slip away. Popsicles and lollipops no matter we're now Grans n Pops Hula hoops and skipping ropes to keep alive our youthful hopes. The essence of life's pleasures bathes our inner child with sun as we all enjoy the sunshine in Earth Angels summer fun! |
