When you drift into dreams tonight, Send your heart my way. I'll send mine to meet you, Where love can have it's play. Send your soul there also, Though the distance might be far. Perhaps there our souls will touch, Somewhere among the stars. I've been searching for a lifetime, For someone who understands. My deepest hidden passions, The way I think you can. Could our dreams connect each other, In a place we've never been. In a way we've never touched, But here we might begin. Could you confide all your passions, Talk of wants, your needs and cares. Talk of pain and oh yes laughter, In this dream far off somewhere. It would not be an easy task, To connect a dream that way. Yet that’s why dreams are special, Because you think they might someway. Poetry is just the evidence of life. |

You just seem to grow further each day in your verse. This one was sparkling. Enjoyed very much. ![]() |
