Talks With Doves Snow flurries swirled in eddies around the still hot body of the rabbit like tiny white messengers calling it’s soul back to heaven – or wherever the soul of a rabbit plays; assuming, that is, life in any form is sacred, lives on, talks with doves, angels, or whatever winged purveyor of God’s spirit guides it once it has departed the physical realm. Trees – live. So does the rest of earths flora. Do they also – talk with doves . . . ©wesley james beard, jr. april 2007 |

Oh, Jim, your words were so touchingly beautiful! You truly do have a divinely poetic soul!  The bunny is in heaven surrounded by doves that have already flown their. The angels are smiling and gathering around his gentle little spirit. Heaven wouldn't be as heavenly if our little furry friends weren't there! Enjoyed your lovely write, my friend! Oh, yes they do! I am deeply touched by your sensitive poem. Just today me and my husband found a dead cat (a beautiful one too) resting in the grass besides the street, just where we parked. It was so SAD to look at this beautiful cat and my husband, also touched, said that he would have preferred not to see it. But I said, that we were meant to see it and to accompany its soul to heaven with a prayer. I asked my beloved cat Mizar who is also in heaven, to welcome the cat's soul and to make it play in paradise and make it feel HOME. Yes, you see, I am positive that all living beings (all that exists actually) have a soul that exists eternally. Love, Margherita |

oh how the violent ones of this earth wave their arms and scream such dribble always in someone else's name. a dove passes on, a rabbit passes on, and returns singing sharing loving in nature's unique ways if only man had half a clue what we could become. it's a circle afer all. the violent ones are a one-shot moment in history. what you write about drives, indeed, insures the universe thrives on something far more powerful and eternal than any thug ever will be.
