Ever leave the big city wander beyond sodium lights boulevards into green space then gaze upward all the way up Clear night sky is pearly speckled familiar stars twinkle 'my conscience can't die with me' echos in the night wind, once our last breaths are taken. Ever lie down in a park group of friends all heads touching into blue space look way up Clouds appear from wisps billow in the wind like perfect sails shaped like a horse's head shaped like a family car far from reality Clear day in deep shades of blue familar winds hear your conscious thought wondering all heads touching awe inspired sense of self departs? makes no sense the all about a 'here today and gone tomorrow' the wind answers.. one wonders where. |
