In Your Heart Can You Believe In Love If someone told you that they loved you would you believe them to be sincere. Or would you fail to believe in love... and know not the closeness and the passion of holding someone so dear so near. JamesLee 27March 2007 |

Dear James, you touch an enormous problem here. I think many can relate, because it is not so easy to believe when we are told that we are loved. Mostly it is the mind that says "don't believe", while the heart whispers "yes, yes ...". Very good poem! Love, Margherita |

Inabsolute You ask me if I'm yours, you ask me if I love you and if I can see tomorrow in the air above you rain makes people run and leave where they would stay there are no absolutes in life I look at you and sadly say "I love you and I'm yours, today". |

Thank you Draunts, Margherita and passing shadows for the nice responses... I believe that it is easy to have misconceptions about love, or to place demands or conditions on love... Surely if you truly loved someone, you would allow them to come and go as they pleased with no requirement to love you for any duration of time...nor demanding of their love or presence, only enjoying that which is given from the heart... But of course when we care for someone, we want them to be around...and to share experiences with them...James |
