Open up to me and let me see your pain. Let me see the wounds that are hurting and deep, the heart thats been shattered and the soul thats been torn apart. Tell me how it feels, what it does to you, how it breaks you down and brings you to the ground. Let me carry some of the burden, take the weight off your heart. You know I can be strong and protect you from the fiercest storms. Theres a battle inside of you, raging hard and fast. You feel you have no control like you're all alone but I'll come out and save you from this war. We'll battle together and i'll shield you from harm, defend your heart till the end and make you feel stronger then you've ever felt before. This is one friend you can rely on, I'll be there throughout the battle and i'll be here when its all over. Trust in your heart, trust in me, trust in us. |
