There was nothing About the way She did it That was special Though now I’m surprised Given the lack of example She did it at all How she would raise Her head and close her eyes When emotional And suddenly the world would stir For though here was something It must have seen before Yet so rare was the experience actual It could not help but pause I was there as well I saw it too And have never stopped Loving her since . |
