Oh, to love again, my sleepy heart awake, feel the pulse within, from the ashes I shake. To touch the velvetness, heavens wings I cling, free me from emptiness, a new song of love I sing. I want to live, love, life, loves power has mysticism, for now I am the wife, to loves Romanticism. Flame flickers, bright, a hearts candle I see, a path leading to light, calling, crying to love me. Love is reborn, a rebirth, the only ashes to remain, cascades from a heart of worth, where true love burns again. [This message has been edited by A Romantic Heart (03-22-2007 05:47 PM).] |

Thank you Honeybunch! J. M. Barrie, the playwright, may have said it best when he wrote, “God gave us memories so that we might have roses in December.” |

I am profoundly touched (and humbled) by such ‘grand-fine’ (pure) “Romanticism” as: “Flame flickers, bright, a heart’s candle I see, a path leading to light, calling, crying to love me.” ["Journeys end...in lovers meeting!"] and, also (as always) I grandly applaud the responses that such ‘writes’ generate from the many wonderful “Romantic” poets at ‘P.I.P.’ ! just a small addition to their comments if I may?!..... Obviously, it has ‘oft been said: “ ‘tis better to have loved and lost then to never have loved at all....” [The “Love-Phoenix” rising is always a wonderful central theme!....’passion-fire’... reigniting love’s finest ectasy; etc.....] In my infinitesimally humble opinion.... the saddest thing is (unrequited) ‘love from afar’: I would write: desire wept and passion cried to let love die unsatisfied |

desire wept and passion cried to let love die unsatisfied.... yes so true, you understand my heart well! I agree, there is nothing as sad, as that of unrequited love~ In my infinitesimally humble opinion.... the saddest thing is (unrequited) ‘love from afar’: May I also say, many thanks to you! |
