Nothing seemed so peculiar Until I opened my eyes Things came truer Thoughts became skies But chaos seemed to linger Filtering through the swell Attacking all the singers Before “it” we fell I am more than an emotion But I hide behind the lies Only going through the motions Yet I’ve realized That singing isn’t forever We must speak unto the sky And that life is an endeavor At which we can only try Why must I hold a pattern? To everything I do Everything must have its turn And to all, its time is due All words I write seem understated I try so hard to be deep But it all ends in me frustrated |

This is great. The one comment I would make,is that the ending was abrupt...such a wonderful flow throughout the entire piece...one line and one rhyme short. I sure appreciated every time I read it! TD |
