Making Sense For many years I studied hard, to learn the ways of life. I analysed the things I found. in pleasure and in strife. I searched for sense in all I did, I looked in every place. I never found a little bit. so I gave up the chase. If I can’t find no sense, I thought, it’s pointless just to look. I’ll have to try make some sense, of things I undertook. So making sense is what I do, with things I meet each day. And really making sense of it, makes searching go away. So senseless things I understand, as silly as they seem. For making sense of all of them, helps seeing what they mean. The moral of this story, is as senseless as can be. Don’t look for sense in what I say, try making it, like me. Ivor G Davies The moment created this second, is a moment that's going to last. |

I thought I was of my trolley Like Kojack who sucked his lolly Intelligence Brains Intellect reigns Then I just thought “By Golly” I’ve got it “No-One” knows right or wrong It was there all along Like knowing what’s hot and what’s cold Just accepting what you are told It’s a balance…. I’m right!!! From black up to white You decide what your brain needs to know Then that’s the right way to go In a sense you are real It depends how you feel Can you stand being the only one right Give others a hell of a fright Get on with the Job The others are odd It’s they that don’t understand That’s how I have it Planned Eric davies |

reminds me of an old axim I was once taught, Seek no other sense when the literal sense makes sense, let it all become nonsense. ...as we continue to make sense of it all...very pleasurable read, well done! |
