congregation of arboretum sleeves in cathedrals soaring, oak trees monoliths of nature’s glory barren by season’s calling shuffled from sky to earth by winter’s chilling breeze blown by gusts of north-air diffusing the light, gently falling like petals to the ground crushed beneath soft steps refreshing the soil for spring’s morning glories death springing life like phoenix rising ushering hope on easter lilies resurrecting faith, living anew |
