Welcome Greening! Warm soft rains are falling blessings for the selu planted,grey clouds mae Father Sky look lower you can almost feel things growing. This season is a sweet one cold time is over we are thankful,new plants are sprouting new young born to both two legs and four we are greatful. For so long we have trapped inside even the rain does not confine us,children laugh and splash the old ones sit by the fire and smile. Happiness is everywhere bourn it seems upon the air,the rebirth of our Mother Earth fills our hearts and our spirits makes us restless and a little edgy. At the dances you can feel it earth power growing changing,stretching from her long nap preparing for the coming blooming. The whole world it seems turns green this is a color you can smell and taste,new life springing from Mothers womb soft,warm and glowing. We are cleaning and preparing there is an urgency on the air to be ready,light fills our very souls relief that winter is over. Smoke and prayers fill the air grandmothers sending everyone on errands,searching for young herbs and plants this is the time of finding many. Can you hear the singing loving hearts are greatful,see the birds are joining in their voices they too are rejoicing. Clouds are breaking overhead Grandmother sun is shining warmly,do you find yourself breathing deeply can you feel her healing touch? Open your eyes and look around you gone is winters stillness,there is a busy feeling as we welcome this new season the time of greening!
