Standing In Silence...

No one else seems to see,
This growing sickness inside me,
     All Because of you.

The shock of that day,
The pain that won't go away,
     All because of you.

These horrible memories that won't fade,
This hole inside me that they made,
     All because of you.

Even in my sleep,
These thoughts slowly creep,
into my dreams-
'til I wake up-
and my throat is filled with screams,
from all my locked up cries,
that I'm forced to keep inside.
     ALL BECAUSE OF YOU!

They're slowly ripping me apart...
These thoughts that will forever hurt my heart...
And you know what?
It's all because of you....

Nice flow, and I could really taste the feelings in this. All because of "You"...I have a few you'S myself. For me, amnesia would be better but forgiveness is the only thing can free inner chaos. I am still working on mine but I enjoyed your poem a great deal. Thank you!
