Repost: Epopee I would to write an epopee To sooth our blights reality To touch the tender of each heart To wash away the anxious part I wish to hail humanity To sail a kite of sanity To make it wax in every part To salve those wounds that pox the heart Whispers seep above my head Burst about this living bed Fragile as a butterfly Mounted on a flowers lie I would for it to mix with air And be inhaled by all that’s there Intoxicate the passage goal And set a sign upon each soul To tide a light and brand in rhyme To ride a grain of sand in time |
