Nature’s Beast, Nature’s Child Hoof beats the heart, servant vibrant and sure Iron clad to the earth, eager alters demure Gentle eyes filled with mists of emotional depth Passion flares in the stirring primordial breath Blended into the scenery, muted and soft Lift of head, trigger finger, rippling sentry aloft Every muscle in motion, lathered up in the heat Falling calmly to rhythm still so light on the feet Knowing near by the scent, evidentiary sire Stealth the wind in the heat, elementally ire Pulsing rivers rush forth baring beast to the wild Thus the shadow by plan every true nature’s child Copyright Kkh 2/23/07 |
