The pain in her eyes Burrows into my heart Shaping the torment That’s hidden in darkness To cut from my eyes In tears and blood All hope of a pleasant love Shattering happiness Because of fear Of ripping away her everything In shadows and light Of a bloodless body With an even lesser soul The calamity of such emptiness Is my tranquil melancholy And we needn’t flow Into anything that’s known It’s evident that we’re clueless In this chaotic world When our voices reach each other And we forget we’re here Should we be oblivious? Or mourn the wreaking havoc? Even if it were to change To get there is to writhe in pain… |
