Sensitive To Light When last, the frosted glass of winter thaws Yellow petals celebrate in simple soul their cause Sharp the faintest impulse calls by quiet sign A whisper, just a whisper o’er the winds of time Moved upon my eyes, in guise of yet to be A story rich with wonderful spent chronologically Another season races on with laughter trailing trill In drape white shoulder, bathes the cold in warmer frill Every lesson pleat and ruffles floating on the wind Pleasantly, each memory to play around again Leaning on the tall tree spirit, waiting for the sound On the eve of yesterday, another ray abound There should I find, I stand in rhyme of just a smile this way Might it be best, to tender test in trace of finger play When we are just as fragile thrust into the coming sun As flowers are, in blush of touches, softer sighs to come Although somehow, right here and now, may not have said it right An eager heart, blooms ever last and sensitive to light Copyright Kkh 2/21/07 |
