Gail Is The Birthday Girl yesterday was your birthday no, I didn’t forget just no card could do I looked at a few to say all the right things I should say to you you are the memories of my childhood both the good and bad the steps we both took with happy and the sad you are possibly the best friend I have ever had you have taken all the fears and the oceans of my tears and somehow melted them with faith I look back and laugh with the troubles of our past that I took the blame for (that I’ll NEVER let you forget) three months grounded to my room out in the yard was where you were standing at my window making me laugh between each tear drop and now look has become a cop you watched over me an angel at my window became my safety net never once lost faith thank you and I have a friendship of a lifetime hope its gift enough |

and Happy Birthday, Gail... sometimes, a card just won't ever do, when you can portray your love just so. |
