Swimming with Sea Turtles You warmed me with the pictures in your mind A vision created with the paint brush of your words And I felt the sun kiss my sandy skin and I remembered the nibble of the Sea Turtles I swam in the cove, even though I can't swim Did I tell you that? Freckles brushed the bridge of my nose White sands dusted me as I dozed And, I remembered that which I have never known ... aziza |

"And, I remembered that which I have never known" This line alone warms a poet's heart. If words can create channels to the avenues of the mind we seldom explore and beyond, then the pen is truly mightier than the sword. Your poetry reminded me of a diving boat I was on in Turkey stopping to see one of these magnificent creatures. Just the sight of them brings feelings of memories lost somewhere in time... Ivor |

Your poetry is magical. I not only read your descriptive imagery, I see and feel them! "And, I remembered that which I have never known" ~ This line holds an extra-special meaning for me. EA |
