Time for another Holiday

my time with her is passing by

without me telling her hi

                 like any normal guy

who appreciates her Mrs. Smith pecan pie

and it's so hard to deal with the fact that i didn't get to tell her bye

     after hearing her sigh with pleasure

that i'm a person she could treasure

and i deserve at least a small measure

                         of her heart
