Her Smile Beguiles

Her smile beguiles
eyes endless, infinite
her words strong, true.
Defender of faith
warrior extra-ordinary
bringer of renewal.

It's first love
at every sight
heart trying to catch up.
Future dared dreamed
pieces fitting together
God's gift this woman.

Everything prayed for
searching for so many years
a lifetime wanting this love.
Come lay with me darling
let me kiss you sweetly
hold you, cherishingly.

"Don't want to rush it !"
Nay! run headlong, heedless
surrendering; take me, my love.
The reflections of her armor
dazzling in the Light
her smile beguiles...
