HERE I COME!
It’s a secret but here’s a clue-
It’s wrapped all in red with a green ribbon too.
I filled up the wagon; it’s ready to go
Out through the crisp and flakey white snow.
My kitty is sitting with one at her side
Expectant and ready to go for a ride.
Are you waiting for me patiently
To place these gifts ‘neath your big Christmas tree?
I’ll be there shortly, a little past five.
Is that when the family will start to arrive?
Are hugs and kisses coming my way
With cookie filled dishes and cousins at play?
The wagon is packed; I hope I’m ahead
Of the jolly red elf, eight reindeer and sled.
