The "Pub", the "Pub", now here's the rub, on lower toe I've found the stub of something writ from ages past, have I returned, at long, long last? Vague memories of "Stuters" float, and crayons, and kings, and things verbot en, then there came der "Blackmitunst" und so I perished more than once. I've not a clue which year this is my slate's been wiped clean of all fizz. Back to the "stute" I shall return with hope that Passions there still burn. A moment please, I'll grab my bag, avoid Nurse Kratchets' constant nag, fire up the way, way-back machine come with me, ya'll, let's make the scene! |

Wow, it's twenty eleven and so much has changed, so please forgive me if I'm acting strange. My last recollection was to order a drink, I said "gin and tonic" but what happened I think, was the bar-keep mis-heard me and mixed me instead a great big "catatonic" and that's all she read! On coming around I checked in at the 'stute with a hangover nothing this side of "acute". But, the place seemed deserted and a sign on the door, said last updated in 2004! So bar-keep a beer, as I've nowhere to go, I'll just sit here and ponder this tag on my toe. |

I like it, whether you're re-treading or not. it is humerous and light hearted. And don't we really write for ourselves anyway, and hope that others like it too? |
