The calendar says a month away
Before Winter has his turn,
But Winter pays no heed to dates.
Its something we must learn.
Last night the temperature dropped low
To freezing or below.
Fall had to make a fast retreat.
I wonder where she'll go.

Thank you Alison but please post yours. I am sure it is just as well done. I will have Thanksgiving at my youngest daughter's house this year with all the odds and ends of relatives that we can gather to gather. Hope you have a nice one also. Nice to hear from you.
