First Light First light appears, an old friend bringing a new candle. Strange, this travelling the road as the globe moves beneath us. Dark plain, dark trees--- Glow of creation coming, growing. Soon the headlamps glare will fade, for this is natural light! |

Down here with the summer humidity the very early daybreak can be a dazzling entrance, 'way off to the eastern horizon, for the moment confined there---that really is momentary, though---and with a lot of promise for a bright, sunshine-y morning. Yeehaw!  |
