a few steps

fresh prints in snow~

new year begun

nestled 'neath

blue-white snow comforter

earth slumbers

fallout drifts to earth

as snow laden cloud erupts~

non-volcanic ash

Very nice. IMO darn good haiku with good coherent mental imagery and "perspective linking." More, please!
