We were so young,so very young, We wed before our flings were flung. Depression era children, we Had never lived in luxury. We were as rich as we need be For love, hugs and kisses are free. In two years, when we had our boy, He only added to our joy. Two girls and our family complete, So many to love, my life was sweet. Twenty-one years before we parted. He died and left me broken hearted. Love paid the price for all the sorrow And warms me still through each tomorrow. By: Joyce Johnson 2009 |

Joyce, What a gift the love that you shared is - and then you shared it with us which makes the gift live on. I hope that makes sense. Love, Alison |
