You look above a half moon falling
Half past a summers eve
Hope to God that you aren’t flying
Quite as low as it seems

The pictures you’ve been painting
Aren’t in the colors in your mind
The telltale signs of wandering
Aren’t too hard to find

So you call upon
The half moon falling
Halfway home
You stop to dry your eyes

And in the middle of the dreaming
You finally realize
a half moon fallin only means
the sun is on the rise

I kept wondering why that frisbee kept getting bigger and bigger....and then it hit me.

zaaclindsay:  I like this poem and the fact that it ends on a hopeful note!

A surprising and pleasing ending.  Love, Joyce
