sometimes late at night I hear you calling out. It echos from the corners of my heart I turn to catch your smile and the diamonds in your eyes And I start to smile back, but you're gone. I hope its more than just a vision; more like a premonition Of things that should have been and still should be And I'm counting on the heavens to hold you once more and forever To leave this world with more than just your smile... more than just the diamonds in your eyes... a simple tender love that altered time. |

Nice, sweet and endearing poem. Such sentiments tug at the heartstrings. I thank the LORD everyday |

And I, I chanced to whisper your name, and now I read you heard me calling. Softly, softly, for it can never be. Enjoyed your poem. latearrival |
