~~~
A path through gentle woodland shadows
disappears through reminisce
As childhood laughter guides your daydreams
to magic jungles
with enchanted mist
~
A path through dangers darkest trials
monsters, dragons, pirates ... more
A land so real
you taste rare apples
from orchards guarded
by an ogres lore
~
A secret path to fortress hidden
high amongst the tallest trees
A secret vault
to hide rare treasures
like smokes and comics
and
' magazines '
~
A path to wander by the hour
leads us back to days out grown
Till stress and worry
eject us back ... reality
wakes our paging phone
~~~

If you continue
to think
what you have always thought
you will continue
to get
what you have always got!

I think we need a day of turning those phones off.  We could start this day by reading this poem and then set off to find our magic.

Thank you, Rex.

Those were the days, Rex. I'm spending more and more time there myself!

I hope you have a loved child in your life that can lead you back through the magic of childhood.  This is a lovely poem.  Lov,e Joyce

I like those days, too. But right now- gotta go to work.

Thanks, Melton

I went back recently and looked in the woods for my old stashes of treasures.  I think that the woodland fairies borrowed them.

I enjoyed reading this again, Rex.

The best thing about Fairies Alison, is that they give more than they take

No doubt, every now and then it is a pleasure to remember our childhood laughter. It affects us positively when we do, like you have done here with this lovely poem.

Love,
Margherita
