I see you from across the room,
My face suddenly becomes warm,
A blush appears
You come closer,
My eyes run over your features,
Your curly hair, oh that curly hair,
Your green eyes meet mine,
I think that I just blushed even more,
My heart is beating so fast,
I swear that everyone around me can hear it
You’re coming closer,
Oh goodness, someone hide me
My palms become sweaty,
Oh I hope that I don’t have to shake your hand
Oh goodness, now you’re in front of me,
You say something,
But I can’t hear you,
Over my rapidly beating heart
Oh God, please give me the right words to say,
I say something,
I don’t even know what I said,
My mind is whirling,
You smile, and laugh
Oh that smile,
That laugh,
This innocence

Just an oh so familiar feeling type of poem, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.  That warm, fuzzy feeling we have all felt at some age, some time.

Check your email for a special welcome from us all, and a personal welcome to you.

*s* You capture so well that heart pounding feeling when everything stops and wishes come true...even if they floor one into silence...enjoyed this~
