~Thanking each one of you for the nice things you say Such warm welcome replies from you A poetess that appreciates them all Glad to see each of you come home Dropping a little ink R i c t a m e t e r Thanking~ ***John*** Thank you for asking ... The form is called Rictameter It is comprised of First Word - two syllables Then - four Then - six Then - eight Then - ten (Then take it down in the reverse order) Eight Six Four Two (ending with the same two syllable word you began with) The form does not have to rhyme ... and often makes that precious little diamond effect~ And remember - it's SYLLABLES, not words~ Give it a shot and let me know by email if you post one~  *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |
