Naked sat the little house Shivering in the spring. I hardly recognized her there With hardly anything To set within my heart a flame That glowed as she was dressed In flowers of magnificence- Each day her Sunday best. But soon she’ll wrap up winter’s chill In fashion on parade When designers of this spring Put her wardrobe on display. |

Dear Barb: I loved this poem and it reminds me of my own home, which looks so dull in the spring and uninteresting. On Mother's Day each year my family comes with their friends and plant all my flower beds and boxes with gorgeous flowers. Also clean up the lawn and sometimes even clean the gazebo!
