To Bee or Not to Bee Have you ever watched a bee gently kiss a flowering tree, then, to a rosebud fly as its delicate fragrance passes by? Or, have you ever watched a man, with his brutal strength in hand, rape the earth from which nature springs and leave it as a pillaged thing? I've watched them both, the man and the bee, while perched aloft in an old oak tree and from this view, one can tell, as a bee winged the earth, man tripped and fell. Wouldn't it be wonderful if all were good, living with each other, doing as we should. Well, until that time, in the tree I'll stay, living with the bee - far, faraway. |

very well said brother wooo. It reminds me of that saying "when they knew better, they do better", obviously we don't all evolve at the same rate. Don't you get lonesome up there in that oak tree? moon. |

So that is what is up in my Oak tree? I thought perhaps it was an unknown species of bird. I understand that the bees too are in trouble. They are disappearing. Joyce |

yes, the domestic forms are disappearing...due to disease and mite infestations...possibly our friends in florida can give us an update on their demise and the negative impact of the "killer bees". now you know, joyce, the strange "nut" in the tree is only me and i am too old to leave. plus, i have lost all of my feathers and i cannot fly. Brother wooo, I must dissagree with you. You say you have lost all your feathers and cannot fly, yet your imagination soars like an Eagle. moon. |

r v wooo , Enjoyed. I am in Florida and have not seen the killer bees. But: there is a tiny orange one that has a mighty sting. For his size, I am surprised, he packs a lot of venom and it leaves a good size bruise, which itches and it reddens and then it black and blues. I try hard to avoid him but it happens when I try to weed.I promise I am not trying to harm him but they dislike my intrusion. best to you. I know we need the bees.
