RAINDROPS

What and where
as the raindrops stare
across the windows pain.

I'm all alone
in the kitchen now
as the clock ticks steadily.

Dishes done
filed one by one
behind the now closed door.

I'm here
it's now
there's nothing else
as the silence closes in.

I feel myself
inside of me
surrounded by my skin.

I've turned
to the right
there's nothing left
but for me to go within.

are the raindrops, tears? the poem seems sad...hummmm...could it be a time of reflection.
