Candy Cane Stains In the land of candy corn dreams Where clouds are made of Marshmallow creams, The rain is made from candy canes. And peppermint puddles Cause flowers to stain A blushing bright pink, With a streak, running white. Oh how sweet And what a delight Where a cloudburst Connects the plight of the rain To the minty fresh tulips That burst in a train Of perfect profusion And stunning sweet glare Kissing the land With a charming affair! |

Barb~ Tell me true ... you saw that 'Scentimental' rose of mine and got all inspired ... now didn't ya' ? This sounds like the PERFECT sky for my little Landry Leigh to play under ... she LOVES peppermint canes~ (I took her some just today ... she says, "~Poet~, you're the best !" ![]() I will have to share this with her on Monday~ *Huglets* ![]() ~*Marge*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |
