On a broken staircase of love, I build a pathway towards my heart, So that many souls who have yet to travel, Will unravel the mystery before them, In my life, I seek that one being, To whom I am the prettiest of all, My every action they recognize, As if etched in the back of their palm, And to whom I can turn to for love, Giving away freely all that I own, What little fear that I would have left, They make it disappear with a blow of a kiss, I never would look at my past and wonder If it was all worth it up to this point, I speak insanity. I write fantasy. I sleep reality. |
