Stars

Last night
I looked at the stars
There was never anything so bright
As they were last night
I learned more in a half hour
Than a thousand men
Would know in a life time
All from pictures 3 in a book of mine
How small we are
In a universe so big
So little do we know
That’s the way it goes
I wish I could explain
The way it made me feel
Walking home from that place
Such a large time, for such an imperfect race

If love were a picture that painting would never be finished.

religiously inspired, "and the more i studied the stars, the more i believed in god" someone whom i can't remember said something very similar to that.

I cling to that which speaks truth and peace to my heart.
