i can't believe we're saying good-bye
even after all we've been through.
i guess it's best that we go on
but i don't want to let go of you.

i tried to hold the pain at bay
but nothing i do seems to work.
i guess it's really going to happen
and i guess it's gonna have to hurt.

i'll have to close my eyes and turn
i hate to see you walking away.
i've tried everything i possibly can
but nothing i do will make you stay.

now the demons are taking over
at my door, the fear of losing lurks.
i guess it's really going to happen
and i guess it's gonna have to hurt.

the fear barges in, it is my time
now i'll leave you with my heart.
if only you would cry my name
my fear would depart.

now i'll try to hold my demons at bay
but still nothing i do will work.
i'm sinking no, it's happening
and yes, it has to hurt.

There is only so much blood i can bleed for you, and continue to live.

This is really good, and with alot of emotion except you should take out the surely in the one line it reads weird
