You are in love with me, what a strange thought to me
All my loves have ended in disaster,
What if this is just like those?
That frightens me most

I think I may be falling for you too
My how my words have gotten me tangled
If it is love, how much would you do for me?
I may ask a lot, I may ask for nothing at all

Not quiet ready to commit, it still scares
I hope you understand,
If not then what does it matter anyway?
But i think you’re amazing I really do

In love, what a funny phrase,
It makes me think of what it is to be in something, in anything
Do I really hold that much interest for you?
Umm how funny, and oh how quaint, I interest you

It may not work, I haven’t told you yet
But our worlds are worlds apart
I haven’t told you so it wouldn’t drive you away
As this knowledge has driven so many others

But then I suppose it makes me a poor match for you
There are some things I try not to write
And there are some things that make me cry
So I try to live as far out as possible, but never succeed

You sorta lose me in da last 3 stanzas.

1st- As a teenager and as a dude (so i guess I speak for myself) I have never seen the purpose for "commitment" at such an early age. What is the point of "loving" somebody for a couple of years before you guys part and go a to college and probably meet new people and "fall in love" all over again. So I don't know, this poem gave me a weird flashback (bad).

2nd- I don't understand the two worlds being apart thing. I either had a romeo and juliet story or tarzan story in my head.

3rd- did u like da guy or not? or were u stil haunted by a former "commitment" and "assumed" every other guy is the same?

Just wanted to put the idea up for discussion since you write so much "love" poetry; thus the "Renaissance Romance" which "runs" Red which I assume is a nickname or something.
