The Flow of Mar I almost throw up- but keep it all in I’ve been rereading my poems of a once ago love And that horrid feeling that makes me cry Fills my chest and trickles down my spine It hurts, the pain is too close to physical And my tear drops land on my finger tips But I let them stay- they look so pretty there And there is no one to hold me or say it’s alright I lived in a lie, and was told it was true I fell in love with an image, stark and new I was happy in a false, ugly tone I was truly there by myself, all alone Nothing is left of him, but the poems and the memories And reading the words makes the feelings come back Strange how it can bring everything back again The taste of the air and the smell of the trees My only ties to that horrible time lie dormant Lurching back to life when they feel like it And I keep them away though they slink into the dark And pain is an ebbing thing, flowing continually Inigo Montoya: You seem a decent fellow. I hate to kill you. |

This was a good poem just like the rest of yours. I don't usually comment on them but your's always seem to make me think and I actually spend time to see all that you have written. You write very beautifully. Look on the bright side of life. Dont take it all to seriuosly! |
