Invisible Man

Waiting there for someone to come
But no one ever shows
While she stands there she dreams
Of someone out there- someone knows

Wanting to feel important
Yet knowing she’s not
It kills her insides to face truth like that
But she dives head first anyways

And waiting in vain makes her think
Who does she want to show up?
There’s no man in her life to save her now
And the pain is let go and sweeps her into its embrace

Could you pretend to love me and then . . .
No, someone find me and hold me tight
Never let go of the girl that I know you knew
My fingers still tremble in your invisible hands
And the sands of time are running thin
And nothing is making me feel any better

I dreamed of kisses,
But the man who gave them skipped my face
Can you save me someone out there please?
They never find me until I’m dieing

I dance alone with an invisible man in my arms
And he’s so good he never steps on my toes
But it’s just another dream that she had
One she had while waiting for no one

I stuck my bare hand into your rip cage and fished around until I found your heart ripped it out tore it apart while saying You dont need this anymore
