Before I pictured your red dress, Or your beautiful face, Last night, I dreamt us dancing in a ballroom, Slowing romancing to our favorite songs, It was the night after our marriage, The floor left empty, with just you and me, Our hands melting into each other’s shadow, My eyes undressing you within my mind, You stood there like a perfect angel, I was afraid to look away, Not wanting to lose our gaze, You lifted your head up towards mine, In that one instance, a passionate kiss conceived, You rested your sugar lips upon mine, Juices of passion began to flow throughout, My breathing became speedy as the time ticked, Dropping your essence through these lips, I carried it all the way to my heart, Just then, I reached home and realized, All this was but a dream of what could be, But I get to see you today in that red dress, You look stunning than I could even pen, Just spend the next few moments gazing at me, Let me relive the passion I’ve shared. I speak insanity. I write fantasy. I sleep reality. |

*coughs a bit, scratches head* No offense, dude, but doesn't this poem belong somewhere else? Like, in the older forums or something? It's a fairly good write, but I don't believe you wrote it in the right place. |

I have to disagree with the two people above me. I think this poem falls under the category of Teen poetry (and of course, if you posted under a different forum, I'd probably miss the oppertunity of reading it! ) "Just then, I reached home and realized, All this was but a dream of what could be, But I get to see you today in that red dress, You look stunning than I could even pen," I just loved those lines of the poem. I loved the whole poem actually, it was just such a superb write! I definately enjoy seeing your poems again and hope to read more from you soon! ~Alli~ |

They're amazing, aren't they, dreams? I believe it was the animated Cinderella who said that dreams "are a wish, your heart makes, when you're fast asleep." ...If only I believed that all teenaged boys dreamed this way. well done. <3 |
