Escape, getting out and running free
horses thunder out of the gate
no set plan content to just be
outlines blurred, one, a flowing wave

I am what I am, a child
foals spring alongside, never tired
I love freedom, running wild
new pastures, scents, excited

life is serene, peaceful bliss
mares grazing quietly in fields
plenty of space for my wishes
open grass, wild to no stallion yields

time is everlasting yet painfully short
mares nurse their fast growing young
have to live life through and so much more
stallions keep to themselves, mares watch, yearlings have fun

go out of the box, explore all of your world
a foal takes their very first steps
write letters in the sand, use sweet words
chestnut mare nips her mate, all in jest

I do not see why we can't escape
yearlings once foals leave their mothers side
horses have the right idea, you can't always wait
bay young stallion, blood red mare, running, shaking the ground, as is their right.

Hi from me good poem

To add something to your library simply reply.

When the reply is completed just below the text box there is a list of 4 additional selections 'Show signature' add thread to library' 'Add poet to library' and 'disable smilies'

Show signature adds the signature you have in your profile to the end of your poem.
Add thread adds that poem and its replies to your library (your library is accesible from the 'Private Library button at the top of the screen)
Add poet to library means that poets most recent poems will always appear in your library
And disable smilies stops them yellow faces popping up

Just select what you want to do with each.

Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
