Take you back, forget the heartbreak, Do you want me to forgive all of it? And believe that you won’t leave again? You want me to pick up the broken pieces, And make it into a heart again, When I touch you now, I feel no heat, You want me to forgive you, For the time you made me feel guilty, And when I asked you, You replied, you couldn’t help it, All those nights I cried myself to sleep, Feeling I was the cause of your grief, I wish you leave me alone, The day when you walked away, Only thought of yourself, and your feelings, But couldn’t think twice about how much it hurts, This broken smile was your gift to me, Your chance is gone, and I can’t let you in again, I made your wishes mine, And your dreams were mine to fulfill, Now all that is gone and we can’t go back, Hoping I will forgive you once again, Take you back, as I have in the past, This goodbye will surely last. I speak insanity. I write fantasy. I sleep reality. |

I like it, it's not as "wordy" as some of your other poems, "wordy" not being a bad thing, but it's still very intense in the writing, in the building of emotions. Thanks for sharing "The rising morning can't insure that we shall end the day; For death stands ready at the door to snatch our lives away" |
